Triple-pane glass also helps cut down on outside noise.
Even the best window will leak air and water if it isn't installed properly. The gap between the window frame and the rough opening in the wall is where most drafts and leaks happen. We seal that gap with low-expansion foam that insulates without bowing the frame, then flash the opening with tape so water is directed out and away from the wall. On the outside, custom-bent aluminum capping covers the exposed wood trim so there's nothing left to paint or rot.
